History

It all started in 2014 when pioneering cannabis advocate Peggy Noonan started one of Arizona’s first edibles companies — selling everything from peanut butter to pesto. Four years into that journey, Peggy introduced a gummy into the mix with the catchy name OGeez! The gummy quickly becoming one of Arizona’s leading edibles, and Peggy soon dropped all of her products to exclusively manufacture OGeez! gummies.

As a product of the 1960’s, Peggy considered cannabis-infused gummies as a way to bring the therapeutic and enjoyable benefits of cannabis to the public. She was a champion of marrying accurately dosed products with superior flavor.  She got to see a lot of her hard work pay off as consumer flocked to her gummies. But, sadly, she passed away of Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2021.

Still, the company remains firmly dedicated to her mission of providing amazing flavors and tailored effects, wrapped in a fun, fresh, and whimsical brand that appeals to all consumers and beyond. We know she would be proud of the how much the company has grown — and of all of the exciting ventures ahead!

2014

Following the passage of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act, Peggy co-founded Cornucopia Health and Wellness, one of the state’s first edible manufacturing kitchens. She drew on her experience with cannabis and her prior experience building restaurants as a general contractor.

2015 -2016

As Peggy’s early products gained traction in Arizona, she was also becoming widely recognized. In 2015, she received the High Times Trailblazer of the Year award.  In early 2016, she was prominently featured in a Bloomberg News story about the burgeoning edibles industry.

2017

Peggy launched Copia Infusions. Copia carved out a name for itself as a small-batch manufacturer with a large portfolio of products, producting baked goods, confections, vape pens, pre-rolls, tinctures, and beverages. That same year, however, Peggy was diagnosed with leukemia. Ever the entrepreneur, she pressed forward, making deals and coming up with new ideas throughout her treatment.

2018

Something “magical happened” as she would later say, when she launched OGeez! gummies in that year. The gummy quickly became one of Arizona’s leading edibles.

2020

With the growing success of OGeez! gummies, Peggy took the big risk of dropping all of her other products to exclusively focus on her signature gummy.

2021

On April 10, Peggy passed away after a nearly four-year battle with Leukemia. Obituaries hailed her as a “rebel businesswoman” and a “certified cannabis trailblazer.” Six months after her death, the company launched Peg’s Raspberry Orange RSO in her honor and officially changed its name to OGeez! At the same time, her son, Bran Noonan, took over as the company’s CEO. Along with the OGeez! team, he is now working to carry out her dream of elevating the company into a mainstream, multi-state consumer cannabis brand.
